Details - something you can't see from the stands and on the TV screen

Professionalism is in the details, they say! You wanna stand out? Shoot the details! Today there are lots of photographers doing excellent work. Everyone can shoot great photos. In my opinion, if you wanna stand out in sports photography you should do the "standard" part great and you need to add something which will be recognizable. To put your own stamp so the viewer can perceive that those photos are taken by you.

When I want to make a break while shooting the standard action shots I'm looking for the details. That's one of my ways of doing the things different. There are lots of logos, flags, parts of the equipment, branding and secret signs between the players that are interesting to be shown because that stuff usually can not be seen on TV and from the stands. Not just during the matches, you can be creative with the details during the press conferences, while shooting the branding around the stadiums and arenas etc.

Try shooting the details! You will have fun!
